Kellan Erso
Acolyte of the Sith
History
Kellan Erso was born on Dromund Kass to a wealthy family. His father is a Sith Lord, Arron Vash, an Inquisitor in the service of the Sphere of Law and Justice in Kaas City. His mother is a noblewoman, though not Force Sensitive. The union was one of status, and the product of it was not expected to be much. However Kellan began to show signs of Force Sensitivity and was taken from his mother's house for training until he would come of age and have the chance to prove his worth.
As a boy he trained against his older brother, Tavro Vash, the first son and heir presumptive of Lord Vash. The boy proved a worthy rival, and the pair of brothers developed a close bond as well as a fervent sense of competition. When the boys turned 18 their father forced them to duel for the right to be his apprentice. It's unclear what the circumstances were, but after a lengthy duel Kellan was struck across the face by his brother's sword and cast out from his father's house, forced to seek his fortune at the Academy like any other worthless Initiate.
The events of that day are a sore point for Kellan, who has little to say on the subject of his brother or his attempt at achieving his father's pride.
So far his time at the Sith Academy has been largely uneventful. He has made impressions on others both good and bad, and has gained a new sense of respect for the dedication and brutality of the Sith. Witnessing the Emperor dispatch an unruly, traitorous Acolyte first-hand has given him a renewed appreciation for the job of the Inquisition, which he joined after a brief but nearly disastrous ceremony. His failure to follow instructions in his haste gained him a bruised body for his insolence, but he was still allowed into the organization.
